Kin Press Announcement
BUCKS COUNTY SPA AND SALON SELF-CARE MONTH ATTRACTS POPULAR SPAS, MED-SPAS & SALONS AS PARTNERS
From May 6 thru June 6, Client’s self-care appointments
will benefit the lives of locals battling cancer
February 16, 2023 – Buckingham Township, PA – We are happy to announce the debut of Bucks County Spa and Salon Self-Care Month set to run from May 6 through June 6. When people throughout the community book an appointment at a participating spa, med-spa or salon location, a percentage of their treatment fee will go to Kin Wellness and Support Center to benefit local cancer patients and their caregivers. People will channel their own self-care into care for local cancer patients. #LocalForLocal
Bucks County Spa and Salon Self-Care Month was created to connect our community with local businesses who provide amazing services while raising funds for the non-profit Kin Wellness and Support Center. Kin provides free care for over 250 local cancer patients and their caregivers across Bucks County. Based in Buckingham Township, Kin operates out of a 5,000 sq ft. all-inclusive facility.
The month-long program (May 6 - June 6) is a showcase for preeminent local Spas, Med-Spas and Salons to gain exposure to potential new clients, while allowing both new and existing clients to book an appointment and participate in supporting community members battling cancer.
The Bucks County Spa and Salon Self-Care Month has a dedicated webpage at www.welcometokin.org where participating locations are listed with a hyper-link to their business. As a visual indicator, all participating locations will have a decal displayed in their window.
Migdalia Costante, owner of Doylestown Float Studio shares, "We are excited to participate in the first Bucks County Spa and Salon Self-Care Month! Self-care is at the core of what we do. Self-care is essential to our physical, mental and emotional wellbeing, and this program aligns perfectly with our mission to be a wellness resource to our community, while giving back to members of our community that need our support."
