The First Annual Bucks County Eat, Drink and Be Merry Raises $25,000 for Kin

Thirty-Two Of the Top Restaurants in Bucks County Participated In This Amazing Month-Long Event

October 24, 2023 – Buckingham Township, PA – We are happy to announce the First Annual Bucks County Eat, Drink and Be Merry Month raised nearly $25,000 from August 15 through September 15, 2023 for Kin Wellness and Support Center.  Thirty-two popular restaurants and bars across Bucks County participated during this month-long event.

Each location created a special dish or drink and offered a generous proceed split to Kin which supports our local Bucks County cancer community and their caregivers.

The event was such a success that it is already greenlit for 2024.  “Our first year exceeded our expectations and we ended up having very strong participation from the local restaurant community. People across Bucks County came out in droves to eat, drink and be (responsibly) Merry, making this event a complete success that fulfills our “By The Community. For the Community” mantra,” shares Keith Fenimore, Executive Director of Kin

These amazing restaurants participated and gave back to the community:   Ardana Food and Drink (Warrington and Newtown), KC Prime, Café with Soul, Karla’s Restaurant & Bar, Servis Events, Poco’s, Plumsteadville Inn, Jersey Mike’s (Doylestown), MORE Catering, Casa Toro Mexican Grill, The Good Gyro, The Hattery, Penn Taproom, Nat’s Pizzeria, Quinoa, Coach’s Steak and Hoagie House, Spuddy Buddy Fry Factory, Vitality Fit Kitchen, Heirloom, Turning Point (Warrington), Carlucci’s Grill, Free Spirit, Judd’s & Jacksons Restaurant, TJ Smith’s Restaurant & Bar, The Farm House Tavern, Lovebird (Newtown), Frost Lounge of Doylestown, Ardana Pizza Co., Green Parrot, Dutch Gardens and Farm Market and Nektar.

Joel Zazyczny, Founder, Cafe with Soul, Serving and Enabling Future Generations shares,“Cafe with Soul is pleased to have participate in the inaugural year of “Eat, Drink and Be Merry”, in an effort to raise funds for Kin and such a worthy cause.  Everyone on this planet is affiliated with or knows someone who has suffered from the wrath of cancer.  Offering patron supported funding for integrative services, support, fitness and therapy is the least we can do assist those in need.”
