February 2022

**SERVICES BEGIN AT KIN**

Hello,

The picture above either makes you want to workout, or bask in the warm natural light and mediate. The good news is you can now do either, or both, in our new yoga and fitness studio! Services have begun at Kin!

Kin is a 5,000 sq. ft. ADA compliant retreat in the heart of Buckingham Township. The Center features: the studio, an event and support group space, a library, living room, kitchen, welcome center, four practitioner rooms and two bathrooms.

At the moment we have nearly 50 guests and over 30 practitioners and instructors ready to serve.

We will begin with a limited slate of services and grow the programs week-after-week until we have a robust schedule.

Here’s what to expect in this month’s newsletter; our own Sandy Roberts interviews a new guest, Robyn C. We profile Diane Kistler and discuss her special yoga pain management workshop and 6-week session. We profile Muralist Emily Hartung. See how our Giving Program continues to thrive as we highlight the CB West Swim Team, Wild Birds Unlimited, Sarah Peters Team and introduce the new Kin Lifeline Partnership. Watch a video interview conducted by Sarah Peters. Learn about all the services, sessions, fitness and events for February.

As always, welcome to Kin!

Founding Member and Executive Director, Kin

KIN’S SPOTLIGHT

Robyn C. and her furry friend Luke

Kin’s Spotlight is a fun way to profile the amazing people who walk through the doors at Kin. Sandy Roberts, our first on-boarded guest, interviewed a new guest, the lovely Robyn C.

Their conversation resulted in this Q&A and it is our pleasure to be able to share it with you.

LOCAL MURALIST, EMILY HARTUNG DONATES TO KIN

“Blessed with a heart of a Wildflower”

Emily’s work lives on walls across Bucks County. So when the Director of Kin, Kristina Fenimore stumbled upon some of her work, she contacted Emily, asking her if she had interest in donating her talents and time to Kin. A week later Emily was hard at work.

We supplied Emily with all she needed; paint, coffee and some pizza. Seven hours later, the pizza remained the same, untouched in the box. The coffee remained the same, still filled to the top in the cup. But the wall, the wall will never be the same again :)

Emily brought to life the idea of using art that is colorful and fun to emote happiness in our hallway which is enroute to the practitioner rooms.

Job well done and very, very much appreciated. Emily is a muralist for hire, who was kind enough to donate her time to Kin and we are beyond thankful. We can’t wait for you to see her work in person next time you are at Kin.
